The Barbarossa Feast

Since 1962, the Barbarossa feast has been a wave of passion to celebrate the Emperor.
The 63rd edition of the Festa del Barbarossa will take place from June 11th to 15th, 2025, in San Quirico d’Orcia.

A fascinating historical reenactment brings to life the most significant corners of San Quirico, recreating the meeting between Emperor Barbarossa, the Cardinals, the authorities of the time, the nobles, the people, and the armies.

The Barbarossa is also a journey through flavors, with taverns in the districts offering traditional dishes and the best wines from the Val d’Orcia, all immersed in a medieval atmosphere with street performances and ancient traditions.
