Solar eclipse

On August 12th, 2026, join us for an exclusive experience celebrating the fascinating partial solar eclipse, surrounded by the timeless landscapes of the Val d’Orcia.

The evening begins at 6:45 PM with a guided walk from Hotel La Posta to the charming village of Vignoni Alto. At 7:15 PM, settled on the meadow with our blankets, you will enjoy the eclipse while savouring a dish prepared by Chef Matteo Antoniello, accompanied by a glass of selected wine and water. The walk back to the hotel is scheduled for approximately 8:30 PM.

The price for the experience is €30.00 per person.

We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing a headlamp for the return walk. Guests who prefer not to walk may request a round-trip car transfer when booking.
